My hinge pops for very light pressure

Hi everyone!

I have a 2016 MacBook Pro 13” TB. I have been using the machine for 3 years and this issue is there since then but I thought it’s a design flaw of the aluminum hinge.

However, I would like to ask what makes this pop noise from the hinge for a very very light pressure?

It can pop really big if I start using the Mac and it heats up a bit. It pops a huge and it makes that noise when I open it the lid. So annoying.

Feels very bad, like when something breaks.

Should I disassemble the hinge mechanism or how can I fix this annoying issue?
