2 different dryers not drying clothes! Help!
When I moved into my condo it had a washer and dryer already in it. I had to dry clothes 5 times just to dry one load. So I bought a brand new hotpoint dryer from HH Greg and the same thing is happening. It still takes drying clothes 4-5 times. I had a warranty and HH Greg came out and said there is nothing wrong w the dryer or the vent. They cleared the vent part that goes to the outside. (They either blew or sucked the space)
they didn’t leave me with any answers. Can someone help!?

What is the model number of the dryer?
Is the dryer heating up or only staying cool?

Try disconnecting the exhaust pipe at the dryer, for just a few minutes. With the dryer running, you should feel warm, moist air coming out. That would prove that the dryer is working and the problem is with the exhaust. If the air is cool, the heater in the dryer is defective. If no, or very little, air comes out, something is plugged up with lint or the fan is not working. Either way, this will require a bit of investigative work. Good luck.
