Lugojennifer14, You have a bad compressor. If you refrigerator is under 10 years old the parts are covered through LG. You would only pay for labor. Labor varies. I’d suggest calling LG. This repair can only be done by a qualified and certified refrigeration technician. The EPA has strick procedures that must be followed when dealing with refrigerants. By not complying with these laws, a person can face fines of up to $10k.
