Why do I have no signal on my monitors when I swapped the CPUs?

So i swapped out the CPUs to xeon x5680 into my dual processor logic board. And i have not gotten signal. At first i was getting red lights in the mother board and the logic board and none of the fans started. Once i changed the cpu on the b side to another chip fans started working. But i still have no signal to my monitors no matter what GPU i have in or anything. Ive heard of delidding the chips but would that be whats wrong? I currently have my computer with a guy and were pretty much out of ideas and i really dont want to try and find another logic board. If any one out there can help me out that would honestly make my entire day. This has been a nightmare changing these CPUs and im honestly ready to give up. Thanks.
