My washer is doing a grinding noise with the sensing fill lightning

Hello, my washer is doing a grinding noise with the sensing fill lightning but doing anything else, I removed the water removed air from the hoses start working and when it was full of water stopped again. I don't know what it is going on. Help please!!!
