My phone froze and then shut down at about 8% battery. It will charge, but I can’t get my phone to turn back on even after 30 minutes of charging. I’ve tried holding the power button and the power button with either of the volume buttons. Nothing I try seems to work.

@silverwolfcc I suggest you replace the battery. It may look like it is charging but may no longer hold a charge. Replace the battery and re-evaluate. If nothing else it will give you a known-well starting point for further troubleshooting.
