Usually with keyboards it is easier to replace the keyboard than to try and fix it as you can create more problems than what you originally had, if you try to repair it.

Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.

Go to p.61 to view all the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the upper case assembly as the keyboard is part of the upper case assembly.

You will notice that you basically have to nearly completely dis-assemble the laptop to gain access.

Here’s the parts list for your model. Click on Select Commodity > C-Cover with keyboard (31) to find the part numbers for all the country specific keyboards available for the model. Search online using the part number only appropriate to your particular model laptop to find suppliers that suit you best.

Sometimes the part number can be found somewhere on the underside of the upper case, if you wish to verify that you’re ordering the correct part.
