1 USB-C video/hub adapter not working
Good day
I’ve got a 2019 16” MacBook Pro running with Catalina (10.15.7) and I can’t make my external monitor work (Dell E2210) I’m using USB-C Hub adapter with VGA/HDMI/4 USB ports.
After reset the PRAM & SMC and updating the Security & Privacy/Accessibility (added DisplayLink Manager) it worked then an error pop-up then the external monitor lost it’s connection. Now the external monitor is not working anymore.
Before buying a new video adapter i like to check if there is a fix.

Did you try a different USB-C port (other side)

Does the external monitor work with any different input (an iPad, PC, etc.)?

@danj Yes tried all ports, no luck

@teardowns101 it was working with my 2013 MBP using a USB 3 to VGA adapter
