MacBook Pro 2020 A2289 - can the LCD Display assembly of 2019 work?

I dropped my 2020 Macbook Pro on the corner of the screen and it damaged the LCD, it became full of horizontal lines.

I tried taking it to an Apple authorised service and it costs almost half the computer. At the same time, I’m not fully trusting the OEM products that I see on Amazon… So my idea is to try searching for a damaged laptop from which I can take a LCD Display. The question is: does the LCD Display assembly of Macbook pro 2019 work on the 2020 Intel model? It would probably be easier to find a damaged computer from 2 years ago.

But would the LCD assembly from a Macbook Pro A2338 (same year, but M1 processor) work?

@pauldumitru - To early to know! We don't have any info for the parts on any of the M systems yet. Maybe in six months we'll know then.
