How to repair preferred plush interactive toy
I have two sets of these interactive figures that either do not move or sing or sing but do not move. How can I repair them?.

Maybe finding a year on these toys, a manufacturer, or uploading a picture of them would help. I’m assuming you have the 2002 models: https://youtu.be/dsQJFJLA2q0
It may be that the batteries are in wrong, or the battery terminals are corroded and needs to be cleaned. Try leaving new batteries in the toy for a while, it may take time for the batteries to warm up and the toy to start working. For the speaker not working it could be that the wires could have come unsoldered. Try moving the two toys, not forcing it, but the gears could be stuck, or the motor that starts up the toy could be weak/stuck. If you here any grinding turn it off the motor is burning out, and needs to be replaced.

I managed to remove the plastic body from the dead boy without damaging it. Opened the plastic body ( 4 screws ) and found one wire from the battery case was broken. Re-soldered it and was able to get the boy to sing but the motor didn't run. Applied 4.5 volts directly to the motor and it ran. There is a small circuit board that controls every thing including the motor, and without a schematic I did not go any further. Put it back together and it sings just fine with the other three figures.

Hello, I just saw this message and was surprised that someone needed help on fixing “Infrared Interactive Carolers” if you still need help on fixing the motors, infrared light, or speakers, etc I would be more then happy to help you fix any others you have problems with! I have been collecting these dolls since 2018 and have a lot of experience when it comes to fixing these dolls.

I need mine fixed, the boxes corroded by batteries.
@marypage Do you have a picture you could post? So I can see how bad the corrosion looks?
i put in new batteries and only 2 dolls out of 6 work. what to do

I have fix all my other ones and have got them going but the old mam speaker is Beyond my skills of fix I need to replace it if some one has one that would be great then I have my hole set going again for next year
@mike19499 Do you think you can post a picture on what it looks like? This can either be a circuit issue, or solely a speaker problem
Nah it's the speaker the circuit is in good condition just needs a new speaker do you have one
Happy to get the whole unit but all I really need is a speaker so if any one know where to get them from please let me know
@mike19499 I have spare speakers, if you want I can fix the caroler for you, unless you know how to do that already.
I have two Worlds of Wonder Mickey Mouse's with books and cassettes. Also a talking Lion King. One Mickey Mouse still works. Lion King and the other do not. I have the Mickey Moses listed on Ebay to sell. Lion King I do not. Is there anyone in this forum interested in these items? Granted 2 of the 3 do not work, but they can used as parts if someone is in need of these items.
