I can't remember my screen lock pattern so I'm about to wipe my phone the problem is I bought this phone from a third party so I'm afraid that if I wipe it I'll need the original owners goo g le account information in order to use the phone at all. Is this fear warranted or will I be ok to wipe it. Do I even make sense?

Hi,You should ask if you can if the third party still had an google or Samsung account attached to it you should not reset until your sure it will lock it due to an previous account linked to the phone you should contact Samsung support about your problem they will be able to assist you.
