The Dodge Dakota (called the Ram Dakota for its final two years of production) is a mid-size pickup truck from Chrysler’s Ram division (formerly called the Dodge Truck division). The second-generation Dakota began development in 1991, though they were not introduced until 1996 for the 1997 model year.

Tried searching for Dakota forums? Owners share experiences, problems and answers. If your window is cable connected to pulleys, severe corrosion may have eroded mechanical parts along with window guides requiring removing the inner door panel for inspection.

Your glass window fell down because there is a small guide like ledge the holds your glass window to go up and down and when you slammed it, it came off from the guide. Remove the inner sidings of your door and attempt to put it back in place.
