What washers to use?
Hi, I want to upgrade to a Xeon x5670,
I was told I need a spacer (2-3 mm maybe)
I can't find the washers.

I don’t know where you are in the world but these are the 2 most common place I know of

Did you consider the X5675?
They are also quite good on performance
I have them in my Mac Pro
@hellomacos - I thought the X5670 is about the same as the x5675,

Seems to be legit
It’s really up to you if you want to save some money as the only real difference is the clockspeed
