iPhone 11 pro is unresponsive

Edit: 6/4/23: Just updating this post for anyone who may come across this. Replaced the charging board and everything works fine now. Thanks to all who helped.

I purchased an iPhone 11 pro earlier this year from my boss who had taken very good care of it. no repairs and never opened. I used a wireless charger to charge the iPhone for months and everything worked fine. One night I put the phone on the charger at about 20% battery and went to sleep. I woke up in the morning to a dead iPhone. Tried turning it on and got nothing. I plugged it into a lightning port and the phone would warm up as if it were charging but would not respond in any manner. I tried again on the wireless charger. the phone will heat up and WILL RESPOND if I hold the power butting while it is on the wireless charger. (photo below) Though it will only display a low battery icon and that is it. Any tips?

Edit: I forgot to mention. As I was toying with it last night, it randomly displayed the apple logo for half a second and I have not been able to replicate it.

Try a hard reset, press and let go volume up then volume down. Then press and hold the power button. Keep holding for 30 seconds unless a apple logo appears. If it does, let go of the power button. Try it with the charger plugged in.

Does it connect to iTunes? Connect to a pc and put the phone into dfu mode. Try a software update, if that doesn’t work then try a restore. Google how to put it into dfu mode. It can take a few attempts to get it right. You’ll know you’ve done it when you hear the connection tone on the pc.

I’d also try a new battery (maybe do that first) old one could of died completely.

@strongbow I have tried this, but it was not plugged into a computer. I'll give it another go.

It looks to me like you have a charge issue. In addition to the reset mentioned in another response (which, by the way, is harmless - will not lose data at all), try charging without the case and try charging with known good Lightning cable from a known good USB port. Look for the green charge indicator in the upper right corner of the screen. If you can't get the phone charged, invest in a new battery. There is a "Battery Health" menu in Settings, but, of course, you have to get the phone started to get to it..... Good to go there once in a while. I keep my iPhone 11 Pro on charge as much as I can.
