Microphone works in voice record and front video, but not rear

Hello,

I'm having an issue with an iPhone I have, the mic works fine in voice recorder and in front facing videos but rear facing videos you get nothing. What do I need to replace?

there is a back microphone that is located on the back of the iphone near the flash component. This should fix the issue :)

I've been trying to find a spare part to replace the back microphone but cant seem to find anything!

ok it would seem i would be wrong. its a part of the power volume flex cable :) so you would need to replace that :)

@Jonathan Parsons Just disassembled the phone and took out the logic board and everything and I believe you're right. replacing the cable you mentioned and the front camera flex cable for good measure. Thanks for your help :)

@blackcoachjesus yeah no worries i had a brain fart the volume / power cable is the solution pretty cheap when done by your self :)

As Jonathan Parsons mentioned, replacing the power volume flex cable should fix the issue.
