Micro phone not working on apps

Hi,

Microphone is working with frontal and rear camera video recordings. It is working for making calls. But microphones are not working using voice memo, Siri, FaceTime and whatsapp. How could one solve it? If it is one of the microphones, which microphone could it be?

The microphone on the top flex assembly uses the apps you have mentioned.  Replace that assembly and it should be fine.

Just to confirm, it is working when making phone calls and using standard call mode, not speaking phone? If this is the case, there may be an issue with the app permissions in settings which controls access to certain features of the phone. Check under Privacy, Microphone settings.
