Which Thermal Paste Brand?
Just curious as to which thermal paste would you use? I used Arctic Silver. That should be fine right?

This is quite a unpopular opinion but aslong as you are using a good quality thermal paste it doesn’t really matter
Most people will use arctic silver or thermal grizzly but I use jut whatever I have on hand as thermal paste is quite subjective for what you are using it for
Some might say one is better that the other for GPUs or lidded or unlidded CPUs ,it’s really what’s you personally find works
So aslong as it does the job you should be all good to go!

So even for the Xbox it wouldn’t matter? Be the exact same as a desktop CPU I guess.

Yeah I kind of figured. Just read somewhere, that someone said you shouldn’t use Arctic Silver on the Xbox so was curious. I have Cooler Master and Arctic Silver. Anyways, thanks for the reply.
I've put arctic silver ceramique2 on probably 60+ series x post HDMI replacement at this point. Works great on them as it does for everything. Don't use it in a ps5 obviously. That liquid metal is a must, but also doesn't need replaced anyways unless you accidentally spill or wipe it off

Personally I use Artic MX-6 for the APU and the spread technique to ensure even coverage. For the RAM chips and SSD I use thermal grizzly advanced (I buy 30g for one console) at around 1.5mm in thickness using the applicator included. The SSD will need it on both the drive it's self and the metal drive cover.
