Why my MacBook Air turns off Randomly

My laptop completely ran out of battery after 2 months of no use / no charging (I left it under the bed). When I tried to start it and didn’t work so I used the alt/shift/ctrl/power button technique. Took it a while but finally came back. Used it one day with no problems (plugged and unplugged) and the third day of use it started to shut down randomly (sometimes while loading the profile just after starting it). Is there any suggestion on what could be wrong or what to do?

Hi

When a device starts behaving like this it usually means that your batter is needing replaced

Leaving lithium battery’s sitting for a long time can cause them to degrade and stop working properly

Also the temperature and amount of battery cycles has a lot to do with it too

Here’s how to check your battery’s health(linked below)

If your cycles are above 500 and it says service anywhere that usually means that the battery is the issue

Here’s a link to the part you may need

MacBook Air 13" (Late 2010-2017) Battery

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)
