Jacob van Dyk possibly. Not sure which version Windows (or any other OS you are running) but I would generate a status report for the battery first. Type powercfg /batteryreport at the command prompt, then hit the Enter key. The report will be saved under C:\Windows\System32 as battery-report. Should be an HTML file that will open with your Browser. See what it tells you about your battery.

Let us know what you find out. It could be the battery (most likely), but it could be a couple of other things as well.

I did as you said, but I got an error in Command prompt: Unable to perform operation. An unexpected error (0x10d2) has occurred: The library, drive, or media pool is empty. And there is no report generated

Does your windows OS “see” the battery? It appears as if your compiluter does not recognize a battery. Yes, this can be caused by a bad battery. It can also be the other way around. I would go ahead and change the battery. If nothing else, it will function as a known-well starting point should further troubleshooting be necessary

Is there any chance to check battery connection? There may be a data line connection problem with the battery

Common culprits include a faulty motherboard, damaged charging circuits, and malfunctioning battery sensors. Your particular make and model of laptop will likely have its own unique issues, and a seasoned tech support operator will have seen all of them.
