1 Standby changing from red to white but screen stays black
My sharp smart tv model 40BJ3KF2B is not turning on. The standby light changes from red to white but the screen is staying black. The TV itself doesn't have any buttons on it. It was working fine last night, I only bought it about 2 years ago, brand new. I live alone so I know no-one has been near it. I turned it off at the wall for 30 minutes & it's still doing the same thing. Can anyone please help me?

Shirley-Ann Mills can you just verify that your TV is indeed a Sharp 40BJ3KF2B That model number does not show up on my list. Do you have sound? In a darkened room, use a flashlight and angle the beam against the screen with the TV on of course. See if you can make out shadows or shapes.

Hi, sorry, had a very busy week.
It's a Sharp LCD colour TV, Model 40BJ3K, serial no, C40UK7552KB65N 40181800700549.
I have clicked on standby, again the light has changed from red to white, I tried it in a darkened room, using a flashlight, varying angles but unfortunately I cant see anything but a black screen. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
