The vac is shutting off after a few minutes

To remove and clean the filter on your Shark stick vac model US640C, please follow these steps:

1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum.
2. Locate the filter cover on the main body of the vacuum, near the bottom.
3. Press the release latch or button to open the filter cover.
4. Remove the filter from the vacuum by pulling it out.
5. Rinse the filter with water, but do not use soap or other cleaning products.
6. Allow the filter to dry completely before replacing it.
7. Once the filter is dry, place it back into the filter compartment and close the filter cover until it clicks into place.

After cleaning the filter, try turning on the vacuum again to see if the issue has been resolved. If the vacuum still shuts off after a few minutes, there may be another issue that needs to be addressed.
