Last May I dropped my S10+, causing a crack on the edge part of the screen + it white screen-ed at a good portion of the display. I had my entire display replaced and it cost a lot.
Just this week I dropped it again (from less than 3 ft high) and there were no external damages but the white screen at the bottom part happened again.
Any chance this could just be an internal problem i.e. I don't need to replace the screen?

Sounds like it needs a new screen again I'm afraid. Unfortunately even a drop from less than a foot can damage a screen if it lands the wrong way. Unfortunately samsungs screens aren't the cheapest either.
