I replaced a dying (or dead) dell battery with one I just got from ifixit. The replacement seemed simple enough but now I'm not seeing any power options and upon running diagnostics it says there is no battery?!

Are you currently plugged in the charger? If so, remove it and try to start the laptop again. If it doesn't work, you probably did not connect the battery correctly.
