Hey guys, I could use some help with my MacBook Pro Mid 2012. The hinge on my laptop screen broke, and I replaced it. But now, I'm stuck with a new problem: the two screws needed to secure the new hinge are also broken! So, I don't know how to fix the new hinge without screws. If anyone has any ideas on how to deal with this issue, I'd really appreciate it.

Ouch! It does look like one screws shaft is still visible so you should be able to grab it with a good strong plier and spin it out.the other screw looks like it fractured below the surface here you would need a left hand drill to help ease it out. Protect the area with masking tape and you might want to use a little bit of solvent as these screws have threadlock to prevent them from working loose. You could also try heat as well from a soldering iron to heat up the screw pieces. But I think I see a second issue as the antenna bar looks damaged.
Lastly does the lid line up? There’s a sizable dent in the cover which might cause the lid not to sit cleanly and the display it’s self maybe damaged as well

At the moment, my best option (because I'm too busy with college) was to remove the plastic cover. I haven't replaced the LCD cable yet because I want to be able to properly open and close the MacBook (I'm using the old one). However, even though I can still use it normally (including opening and closing the screen), the two screws from the hinge aren't fixed, so I need to be very careful when opening and closing it. Thank you, Dan, for the suggestions, they really helped me. As soon as I have the opportunity, I will fix the issue and provide photos.
