Why does my Xbox 360 Controller keep losing power at small jolts?

There is power to my controller, however, I have to twist it to get the power to connect. It's getting harder and harder to do this. It will lose power at the smallest jolt. I can't play games with it anymore, and just use it to navigate Netflix. The condition has worsened over time and I'd like to fix it. What's wrong?

Eddie Witkowski, what do you mean by having "to twist it"?

If this problem occur even if you connect the controller with wire or wireless i believe that the problem is on the board of the controller. Else if the problem occur only in wireless that mean your batteries don't fit perfectly. If you don't want to change controller just put some tinfoil on the negative pole of each battery so the batteries are squeezed.

This seemed to help the problem some, but it didn't solve it completely. The batteries are super tight on the outside now, and it will connect if I twist it, but it's almost like it was when the problem first started before it got really bad. But this definitely was a help, just not a solution yet. Thanks!
