HP Pavilion X360, No charging light, won’t turn on

Correction: HP Pavilion X360 14m-dw1013dx

My laptop will not charge or power on. When I plug it in, there is no power light and the power button doesn’t do anything. No signs of life at all. What is the problem and how could I fix it?

Edit: the problem was solved by simply disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
