I slammed my tablet and now I think I broke it from the inside. The screen on the outside isn't cracked. Is there a way I can fix it without going to a repair shop? I feel really guilty about this and I don't want to get a new one. Please please help.

@needhelp16370 yes, that is a broken display. You will have to replace it. Screens come at different prices from different sellers, and those are not too expensive. You'd be looking at something like this AS for replacing it, again not to complicated. If you give use your exact model number, we can probably provide you with more details. See if your tablet is a T280 or another model. Should be on the back of the tablet.

@needhelp16370 something like this video will work for you. The screen is available at many places. Cost is somewhere around USD$50-$60 and up. Not a terribly complicated repair. You know you got this.
