Dishwasher Fills and Doesn't Circulate

Kitchenaid Dishwasher (KDTM404KPS0) will fill with water and "attempt" to progress with cycle...except, that the circulation never starts. All other functions seem to progress (soap door opens, intermittent fill and drain, etc).

Tried putting into diagnostic mode, all LEDs light up (any 3 buttons in succession 3 times). I then hit the second button and close the door and the diagnostic cycle starts. After a few minutes (about 4 and a half), the drain pump kicks on, drains the basin, and the diagnostic test stops. No flashing error codes.

Any ideas?

Hi @smenches

If the circulation pump is not operating it could also be the run capacitor that is faulty and not the pump. (example only to show part)

Can you hear the pump humming as if trying to operate?

Here's the tech sheet that may help to prove what the problem is.

Run the diagnostics as described by the tech sheet and check what error codes (if any) are displayed.

The error code description will let you know what to check.

Here's a parts list that is useful, as it has the manufacturer's part number for all the parts.

If a part needs replacing, search online for the part number to find suppliers that suit you best.

It's the pump (W11414076 is the part I think). Mine is doing the same thing. It fills and heats the water. Sits until the cycle is "finished" then drains. No water sprays around.
