PS4 Slim USB port has power but does not recognize my controller

Hello everyone,

I have a PS4 Slim that has a USB issue. One port works fine, it charges and recognizes devices and the second one I thought was dead so I replaced it. The new USB port has power but does not recognize controllers. Has anyone encountered this issue? I tried rebuilding the data base but that didn't do anything T_T

It sounds like the data lines may not be connected. Does your PS4 recognize when you put in a flash drive or other storage device? Do you have any pictures of your repair work?
