How to remove the needle

To remove the needle from the Singer EZ-Stitch Chainstitch Sewing Machine, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the machine and remove the needle plate by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.
2. Loosen the needle clamp screw by turning it counterclockwise using a small screwdriver or the included screwdriver that came with the machine.
3. Once the needle clamp screw is loose, carefully pull the needle out of the clamp. Be sure to note the orientation of the needle so that you can insert the new needle correctly.

To replace the needle on the Singer EZ-Stitch Chainstitch Sewing Machine, follow these steps:

1. Make sure that the machine is unplugged and that the needle clamp screw is loose.
2. Insert the new needle into the clamp, making sure that it is facing the correct direction.
3. Tighten the needle clamp screw by turning it clockwise using a small screwdriver or the included screwdriver that came with the machine.
4. Replace the needle plate by screwing it back into place.

If your model has a plastic needle protector with no screw, you can remove it by gently pulling it straight out from the machine. Once the protector is removed, you can follow the above steps to replace or remove the needle as needed.
