Display assembly no picture, backlight comes on
I have a MacBook Air late 2018 13" that a customer stepped on. Replaced the whole assembly and the screen is turning on, brightness changes, but no picture. So I know backlight is working.
No boot sound, but when I press buttons, it makes noise.
Plugged into external adapter via usb to HDMI adapter, works fine externally.
I've tried reseating the display cable, resetting the SMC, doing full hard shut down, nothing seems to change it. When I move the screen while it's on, I do not see flickering or anything.
So far, it seems it's either A. the replacement screen is bad or B. the display cable/that part of the logic board is damaged from being stepped on.
Bu iyi bir soru mu?
