Asked on here earlier about a Macbook Air that won’t charge despite being at 18 battery cycles. Apparently the charging logic on the logic board is broken. I was wondering if anyone knows where exactly it is and how to replace/repair it. Thank you!

I had a look at the original question and I have a couple quick follow ups just to be sure we're not running down an issue that could just be the battery.
Did you ever try a known good battery with this board? Could just be me trying to get the overall gist of this, but I am not apt to jump to a board problem, until I know for certain that it's not a replaceable component.
The pictures you posted in your update are what we would call "No Stuff." All that means is that the board has the place for a component to go. The schematic may even specify something that goes there. But the final board design does not have any component in that location. So those spots being empty is totally normal. You can usually tell because the pads are too shiny and perfect.
As for charging on this board. It's a bit complicated. Charging itself is handled by the ISL9240HI (yellow in the pic). But the TI CD3215s (blue in the pic) previously mentioned also play an integral role in negotiating the necessary 20 volts from the charger. But if you can run it off of wall power, with no battery. Then you're getting the correct voltage. So I would be more likely to think the ISL is your issue if it's not the battery itself.

I haven’t tried it with a known good battery. I have an M1 macbook air that has a working battery, so I could try using it. Also yes, I can run it off wall power, but it runs extremely slow and the fans are at full blast. Someone here said that the macbook might be in CPU safe mode, but idk.
yea alisha but hard to tell as we dont know if he is getting 20v or maybe a bootloop
@maximm66497 M1 uses a slightly different, and on the other side of the board. A lot is similar, but that’s one of the things they changed between the intel and Apple Silicon model. But it sounds to me like it’s work trying a new battery. CPU safe mode sounds EXACTLY like what’s happening. Which is super typical with a crummy battery. Could also be the board, I would just want to rule it out.
@tech_ni Yes. Honestly. If this isn’t battery, could be either. But it sounds like the machine is capable of running and booting from wall power. Just not from battery only. Otherwise I would tend to agree re: CD3215s. They get caught in the crossfire often. Between weird charger issues. And liquid damage (not necessarily the case here, just saying).
@flannelist would the m1 battery work with this laptop, or will I have to buy a new battery? When I first got the laptop I thought I’d just have to replace the battery, but since it’s only at 18 cycles, I was a little skeptical that replacing it would fix anything.
As far as I can see, there isn’t any liquid damage, no corrosion etc.
@maximm66497 The battery for the M1 will not work in Intel models (2018-early 2020 MacBook Airs). They are likely quite similar, but the connector and the cable location are not the same this is the M1 and this is the Intel Air battery.
Cycle count doesn’t always tell the whole story on a battery. Could be the battery just flat out failed. Even after 18 charge cycles. It happens. There is also a battery management board as a batery of the battery, and generally that’s where these kind of failures occur. The cells are probably fine, they just can’t get any charge.

Hmm. I can't seem to find those on my logic board. Are they covered by something?

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but the photo does not seem to match what mine looks like. I've attached a photo of my logic board for comparison.
@maximm66497 does it say 820-01521 on the board ?
Not as far as I can tell. Its an A1932 Model Macbook Air.
