Could Transmission recall repair knock out computer system

I received a recall for my Ford Escape 2014 for a transmission part. Some of these cars had the car slip out of Park when transmission was put in Park. Dealer repaired transmission recall part and knocked out my computer system. Dealer denies this. Computer system was working fine when I took the car in and 2 hours after repair was made computer was not working. Recall part dealt with car slipping out of park while parked. Now I can get a backup screen, etc. only if put it in PARK first. Seems like the new part could have something to do with the compute knock out. I am now looking at $1200+ for a new computer system. Not happy!
