Any reason why I should stick the battery in the phone?

I replaced my iPhone 8's battery, and I'm planning not to use any adhesives on the battery so replacement would be easier next time. Any reasons why I need to stick the battery into the phone?

so that it doesnt rattle about inside the phone and limits the chances of damaging anything, stick it with thin double sided tape at least, its not as hard to remove as the battery strips
