First you need to be sure the actual screen is cracked. Does it look as if ink is running down the screen when you turn it on? If not then most likely it's actually the digitizer that's cracked and you simply order a new digitizer and install it. Google will bring up a you tube video and show you the exact procedure for replacing it.
