Why is my phone overheating?
i could be playing a mobile game for 10 minutes and my screen is so hot its almost painful to touch! if someone could explain why it would be great!

@queso80563 generated images uses energy. the quicker, more complex your images need to be "drawn" and "redrawn", the more energy you need. Energy creates heat. Hence you screen heats up. The better the quality of the display, the easier it is to dissipate the heat etc. Your phone display may simply heat up because of this. Solution would be less gaming (graphic intensive).

To add to this good answer, try playing games using the phone in safe mode that way there'll be no apps running in the background, (that shouldn't be) thereby freeing up more resources that can be better utilized reducing the stress on the system
