I bought a new battery but my cell phone can't stand being unplugged, I took it to a service center to check the battery level and it's perfect, what could be the problem with the cell phone not holding the charge?

@leonardoga81282 this "dies immediately when I take off the charger, I'm using the old battery right now and it lasts for like an hour" sure sounds like a bad battery. New or not, if it does not work, but the old one does, it's your battery. Get another replacement and make sure that it is the right model battery for your phone. Let us know what happens when you install it.

@leonardoga81282 How did they check this " the battery level and it's perfect" does that mean they checked the battery voltage? What did they check? Does your phone turn off immediately when you unplug your charger? What are the exact symptoms your phone is having?

I don't know for sure how they checked, but they said the battery is brand new. My phone dies immediately when I take off the charger, I'm using the old battery right now and it lasts for like an hour, but the brand new lasts nothing
