Lenovo Thinkpad T420 DVD Drive Randomly Ejects

Most of the time, when I am just doing schoolwork or watching a YouTube video, the DVD drive randomly opens up when I don't want it to. Also, sometimes, when I press its button to open it, it does not open. What is the cause? Is there a solution?
