Tea went into my screen and giving a splotch.

Sadly sometimes flipping the system over makes a bad situation worse! That is what happened here the spill along the bottom inverted it’s travel which in turn got into your display deeper.

At this point there is little one can do to undo the damage. These displays are very hard to open up without adding more damage. Even still the tea will have stained the defuser surfaces so it will still be present in the end.

That leaves only one option replacing the lid. Ouch!!
