My console does not power on at all and only charges for 3 seconds

I've been using it for a while, and while it had a few issues, like turning off suddenly if i touch the back slightly hard or place it on a table even a bit fast, i could always turn it back on without a problem. But about 3 days ago, i put it in my bag while goung somewhere, i retrieved it to play and it does not turn on at all. I plugged in the charger but it charges for 3 seconds and stops. I also tried changing batteries thinking it was the problem, but it didn't do anything. Is there any hope to fixing this device?
