Hi @madhavamine6mc

Is the HDD being shown as detected in BIOS?

If not can you hear the HDD spin up when you first turn on the laptop?

If not the HDD may have failed.

If the HDD is being shown in BIOS then it may be a corrupted boot file on the HDD.

If Win 10 is the installed OS, create a Win 10 Recovery USB drive and insert that into a USB port in the laptop and boot from it.

Once in the Windows Recovery Menus, go to Troubleshooting → Advanced → Start Up repair and follow the prompts. Do not select Reset this PC because if you select the wrong option after this you can erase all your data as Windows will be reinstalled.

To create a USB Recovery disc, you will need an 8GB USB flashdrive and about 40-60 minutes of time. You can create the recovery drive from any known working Win 10 PC. In the host PC go to Control Panel → Recovery → Create a Recovery Drive and follow the prompts.

@madhavamine6mc

If the BIOS is detecting the HDD i.e. model number of HDD shown in BIOS, but there's an error message when starting saying that no OS is detected then there's a problem with the boot partition software on the HDD (corrupted?) or the HDD itself (faulty heads - can't read/write to the discs?)

I assume that you tried a recovery disc and if that didn't work you could try reinstalling Windows on the HDD (you will lose all the data that was on it) and if that doesn't work you will have to replace the HDD
