Need tips cleaning and repairing corrossion caused by liquid damage

I spilled some soda on it and now the "Q" key got corroded so bad it and "Tab" key isn's funtioning anymore.

Tried to clean it with white vinegar and IPA but it doesn't seem to be effective, and also looks like the pads are also lifted off.

I also tried to scrape the corroded gunk but somehow it refuse to come off.

Can someone give me some tips to bring it back to life (retracing, conductive adhesive,...)? And is that true that the upper side (side with the key caps) are for key collumn/row and vice versa because i'll probably have to bridge this switch.

P.s. I'm new to fixing boards so if you can be as detail as possible that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You must very gently take off every letter and with clean qtips clean it changing the qtip often. You can use a very little alcohol on the parts that won't come up with a dry one. Check the inside of the cover and letters as well

Also, any damaged wires have to be re-soldered on(new ones) if you aren't confident in your abilities to do this you can watch videos on this.
