Why is my GBA SP not turning on.

So I have been trying everything to fix a broken GBA SP. I first changed the battery and it is properly charging but when I go to turn the gba on nothing happens. I then took the PWB out and unsoldered the on/off switch to clean the inside and then reassembled it. Still nothing. I was wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction.
