F3 LED code on Aroma rice cooker

Hello I'm new to this forum so my bad if I break some rule.
I got an Aroma rice cooker
Model No. ARC-1030SB

Things been throwing up F3 error on the LED when I tried using it yesterday, now I did some digging around online and found out it's for something related to overheat sensors in the unit. Now as for as my knowledge goes I'm just an avg consumer (even though I hate to admit it) with no knowledge about how to go on with this, or even what to do to fix it, if that's even possible at this point.

I have already tried to typical plug, restart, plug back in couple of times
Already tried cleaning the thing to make sure there's no gunk
Already tried messing around with some buttons

So this is kind of my last ditch effort to post here before I add this unit to the global e-waste bin somewhere in the ocean and move onto a newer model. Any help or advice would be appreciated, thank you

When did you purchase this rice cooker? If it was within 1 year then it is possible to file a warranty claim with Aroma.

That's out of question now, it's already heading to 1 and a half year. I would like to try and make an effort to manually try fixing the thing if that's possible with F3 codes. But I just don't see any guide or step by step process to doing that.

@jakeleo The F3 error shows as a : Top sensor short-circuit. Now we just have to find out how to tear it down and to find the sensor :-)

That's something but I don't know where to start, is there any step by step guide out there? cause I'm definitely willing to give it a try, just once again because of my limited knowledge in this tech I'm just lost.

@jakeleo post some good pictures of your rice cooker with your question. Let's see if we can figure out how to disassemble it :-) Adding images to an existing question

Is there still a need for help with this? I have the same cooker and have fixed this issue twice. I can write up instructions and provide pictures if needed.

Guide still a work in progress. Steps are all there, just need pictures and maybe a video.

Update - Feb 5, 2023 - I finished taking pictures and have refined the guide just a tad bit. But should be good enough to call it complete now. Feel free to let me know if anyone needs any clarifications or anything to add.
