My unit is giving ridiculous leakage readings up to 120L/min.

I can neither hear nor feel any external leaks. I replaced the tank, mask cushion and outlet tube. The hose (heated) is 6 months old. The unit is 5 years old. Occasionally I heard a whistle when I inhaled which stopped when I jiggled the tank.
