Watch band will not stay attached

If I'm to guess, either the springs in the pins have gotten weak or, I found that if I didn't have a stretch flex band because I worked using my hands alot I would get the band hung on different things and that would pull the pins sometimes even bending them and cause the band to come unlatched or pull off the watch it's self.
