Seam separated at one screw

I replaced the battery a few months ago. Little use since. Just noted space in back seam near one screw. Computer not hot. Should I worry?

For piece of mind I would install this Gem of an App! CoconutBattery

It will allow you to see the batteries temp, If you want more on temps TG Pro will let you see everything!

Both of these are my goto tools.

OK, lets look at that screw! It's likely you cross threaded it as these screws are at an angle! I would take it out fully and rethread it in this time take note of the surface angle.

A simple trick here is take a business card draw a line spitting the long side into two equal parts now take the card place the line above the screw hole, place it so at the screw hole the cards edge is 90º to the hole shaft now follow this trajectory of the line with the screw. That should get you flush!

Yes. It was that screw but not misthreaded. There was a rubber fastener (instead of a screw) inside in that location that wasn't properly seated. Fixed that and put all the screws back. Case edges are all flush now, thanks.
