Would replacing the motherboard have any issues?
hi i also have the exact question but my unit is iphone 12 . will the activation lock still occurs after the board transplant ? how's your iphone doing ?

If you replace the logic board and nothing else then you will have non genuine messages for the display, battery, and camera and completely loose the ability to use Face ID. Also there is a chance that the Taptic Engine may or may not work right. For the most part they work fine upon swapping but occasionally they act up.
