Why the Taptic Engine making my iPhone 12 rattle?

So I changed the battery and the Lightning port Flex on my iPhone 12 and upon testing the functions I hear a really bad rattle. It's not the Taptic Engine itself, it's another part/parts that are vibrating by the Taptic Engine. The awful noise goes away when I put pressure on either the Engine or the battery. Does anyone know what part could be causing this? I have also removed some parts like the speaker and sim card tray to pinpoint what the problem is but I really can't figure it out.

There can be a few reasons

  1. the Taptic Engine is loose, try to fasten the screws.
  2. The contacts of the Taptic Engine arent properly aligned.
  3. Something inside the Taptic Engine is broken.
  4. if you can’t get it to work you can always try to put a piece of for example electrical tape to secure it. When none of that works you might need to buy a new Taptic Engine but I can’t promise That it wil work. If you don’t mind you can also just leave it out and just have no vibration.
