I have tried all of the suggestions to bypass the password authentication system even even entering in the code CD7BKN3-8FC8. It doesn’t pull up any passwords to try. Any suggestions?

Quite a drastic measure to want to bypass it. Is this your personal laptop or a clients?

My nephew passed away and it is his laptop. We have no idea what the password is and I am trying to wipe the computer before selling it. The funeral costs were a little more than what the family thought.
Sorry to hear about a loss like that. It is never easy to lose someone.
There should be a possibility for bypassing the password by editing the registry through the cmd in the recovery mode.
